June 1, 1998,
Shemar was born, a very healthy, chubby beautiful baby. She is the 3rd kid of my sister Ethel and bro Arwin. I have known her for the past 18 years and I was there while she was growing up. I used to baby sit her while she was a kid. She is loved by every one in the family. She is talented, she can dance gracefully and has a passion for arts.
I can’t imagine how time flies so fast for my little girl is now a lady. Today is her 18th birthday; it’s her debut. I wish I am there to be a part of the celebration. Shem, though I am miles away from you but you are think about on your birthday and everyday.
Have a happy birthday to my beautiful niece Shemar. I wish you good health, more blessings and more birthdays to come. Don’t rush on things prioritize your studies for that is the only possession that can’t be taken away from you; and finishing your studies is the best gift you can give to your parents.
Once again Happy, happy birthday to you! God Bless YOU always.

Today is a sunny Sunday its nice to stay outside but the weather is so deceiving but when i went outside, oh my gosh, I’m freezing its -10 Celsius. Hope this winter season will be over. Thanks God for letting the sun shine though its cold. It has been cloudy on the past weeks and so depressing.
I’m up late this morning taking advantage of the weekend before the work week starts again tomorrow. Babe and I will be doing some visiting to his relatives today.
Have a Blessed Sunday Friends.

January 18, Happy Birthday Pa!
January 18 is my Papa’s birthday, Though it’s almost 5 years since my loving Papa has passed away. He will be forever in my heart no matter where i will be in this world, I miss him so much. If he is just alive then it would have been his 70th bday, but he was called by God to be with him. I know you are now happy where ever you are no more pains.
Till we meet again Papa Romy. We all miss you dearly.

To all Cebuanos, Viva Pit Senyor!
Fluvial Parade of the Child King
"It has been a tradition to have the image of the Child Jesus visit His parents before His grand day. The icon will be leaving His home in the Basilica del Sto. Niño which is in the heart of Cebu City and will be paraded to His foster father in the St. Joseph Parish in Mandaue City, another city next to His domicile. A great number of dynamic and lively devotees will be following the Infant, as He make His way, once a year, to His father Joseph. The Niño stays with His father for a day and a night, while believers from nearby cities and municipalities can join with Jesus’ celebration and have a vigil in the parish.
After an overnight stay with His father, He will be voyaging His way to His mother in a nearby island in Lapu-Lapu. The ceremonies in Cebu begin with this early morning fluvial procession, reenacting the coming of the Spaniards.
The Holy Child Jesus is usually kept in a glass case bedecked with blossoming flowers, which will be carried by a “galleon” towards His destination. The sound of drums beating and trumpets roaring in the wee hours of the morning would not affect the solemnity of the ritual. Fireworks, ship’s bullhorns, sirens and yells from the Sto. Nino devotees can add vibrance to the decorated motorboats sailing under a brilliant sun. Air Force helicopters from Mactan Air Base and other private planes will be hovering above and showering petals in the flotilla, which include motorized bancas, passenger boats, yachts, barges and fastcrafts."
It has been 3 years now that i missed the Sinulog Festival. I miss seeing the fluvial parade and attending the vigil of the Child Jesus every time it goes to my parish - St. Joseph’s Parish (now called the Shrine of St. Joseph). We always look forward for this every year no matter how long the line before you can get closer to the image of Child Jesus. Hoping to be there for the Sinulog 2009!
Viva Pit Señor to all!

I wasted 2 hours of my time today. I was writing about the recent snow storm we had on valentine’s day and including some pictures. Unfortunately, i lost all my text while i was editing the picture, I think i accidentally deleted the contents of my blog :(. It upsets me, I was already at my last paragraph and i couldn’t retrived it anymore which sad :(.
I took this time to sit on my computer and do it for its my only day off for the week setting aside my other household chores. Now, I don’t have time do it again for my household chores are waiting for me now, hahahaha. I hope i will be back in the mood to write again and be able to retrive all my thoughts on that blog after my household chores are done.
I’ll post it when its ready the second time around.
